Is the Mothership course a good fit for you?

Sometimes it can be hard to tell if a course is what you need right now. That's cool, I don't want you to sign up unless it's a good fit.

I also don't want you to have to wait till next time cause you just weren't sure. Dealing with these issues frees up energy in your life. If it's a good fit for you, waiting actually costs you months of your life.

So,

Mothership is a good fit for you if...

#1. You never feel like your abs or butt actually do any work. Even when they should....

This is a big red flag that your body is compensating and using different muscles than your abs or butt to do their job.

That is the miracle of your body. It does what it needs to do get the job done.

And if you let those compensations continue for a long time there is often a cascade effect in your body that is no fun at all.

Instead of dealing with that, I recommend you get those abs and that butt working again.

It will take some work in your brain and your body but it will be soooooo worth it!

#2. You have chronic back pain

I recently did a survey and found that by far the issue most of you were dealing with was back pain. Back pain seems to be part of the picture no matter what other issues are present.

This is because your back muscles are part of the team that takes over for your abs when they can't work as well cause your pregnant or have just given birth and are all loosey goosey. The skills you learn in Mothership tend to reduce or eliminate back pain. Seriously, imagine what it would be like if that daily pain was just gone?

Another set of eyes helps soooo much. What you think you are doing in an exercise is often not what you ARE doing. It really helps to get personal feedback.

I am always happy to look at a video of you doing an exercise and always like helping out in the discussion group as well.

That's how you learn to do something different. Get help.

#3. You have a hard time creating space for yourself

Accountability! ⁠

Doing this work with a small group of women makes such a big difference.⁠

Just showing up is the first step. It's easier to show up if you are expected :)⁠

I used to struggle with this like crazy! I knew I needed to show up and do the work but I would make all sorts of excuses why I couldn't and then be resentful at my family for getting in my way.⁠

I'd also fall into the all or nothing trap. Beating myself up for missing a day, telling myself stories that I wasn't good enough or that cause I skipped yesterday I now was behind and I might as well not do today cause I'd failed. ⁠

See how that makes showing up harder than it needs to be? ⁠

#5. You feel kinda pissed at your body and feel like it's betrayed you.

It is so easy to feel like you are fighting with your body, like it is working against you. I've been there.

Shifting out of this and into a partnership with your body is the absolute first step to healing your body.  

It's not always easy to do, but you get to practice every time you do the Mothership exercises.
