Practice

Are you also confused about what the important part is?

Today is the first day of a renewed commitment.

I am committing 15 minutes of moving meditation every day. There is no form, only listening to my core being and translating that into movement.

I’ve done this before.

Many times, and I’ve failed, again and again.

Here I am, even though I’ve failed over and over.

In my last grief stricken breakdown about how I keep breaking my promise to myself my husband said something very wise and helpful.

The practice is not about the thing that you are trying to do, it is about choosing to do it. Choosing to come back to it. That is the practice, the choosing, not the movement.

And all of a sudden it isn’t such a tragedy. I just choose to come back to it. He’s right, that is the practice.

Choosing to return even though it feels awkward or non urgent. That's the practice.

I want to share that practice with you! What you do doesn't have to look like what I do, but the choosing to get present with your being and body is the same.

If you would like to join me in connecting to the core of your being and the core of your body on a daily basis, I've got two delightful offerings brewing up for you right now!

First up is:

5 days to Connect to your Core

A free 5 day email challenge.

Everyday for 5 days you will receive an email guiding you through movements to get the core of your body connected (perfect for moms but also for everyone) and an invitation to engage in a quick activity to connect in to the core of your being. In total it will be concise and actionable and 15 minutes or less to complete.

It runs August 19th to 23rd.

Do it!

You will come out the other side more connected to your body and being! And if you are a new mom it is a perfect and gentle way to start reorganizing your body after pregnancy and childbirth.

And coming in October 2019...

The Core Connection Community Challenge

I'm working with the Obii app to create a month long challenge for you.

Because it is through an app there will be no going into facebook or email and looking up half an hour later wondering why you opened it in the first place.

Daily inspiration and support from me and the other challengers.

Beautiful buttons to click when you finish an exercise, connected chat to ask questions and share victories and bonuses to unlock as you collect points. It's a fun way to practice the practice.
